'Ring of Steel' Installed Around Oscars Venue Amid Protests

A “ring of steel” surrounds the site of the Oscars. The Academy hopes that the giant barricade will help prevent protests. The tall steel fence now runs a mile long down Hollywood Blvd outside the Dolby Theater. More than 500 police officers will be deployed to protect the star-studded event. The beefed-up security measures come after chaos in New York City between pro-Palestinian protesters and cops. Inside Editon’s Jim Moret has more.
