Pandemic Doesn’t Stop Animal Blessings in the Philippines

In the middle of a pandemic, some can find it comforting to know that at least one tradition has continued on. World Animal Day was recently celebrated, and pet owners brought their beloved two- and four-legged family members to be blessed by a priest in recognition of the holiday. World Animal Day is often celebrated on Oct. 4, the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals. Inside Edition Digital’s Stephanie Officer has more.
