Paris Selects Hat as the Mascot for the 2024 Olympics

Organizers say the choice is in step with the quirkiness of France that makes the country all its own. The Paris Organizing Committee announced the new mascots for the 2024 Olympics and Paralympics: The Phrygian Cap. “It is a symbol familiar to generations of French people since the French Revolution obviously, but it goes far beyond that,” said brand director at Paris 2024, Julie Matikhine.
