Prince William ‘Sickened’ by Racism Toward British Players in Euro 2020

Prince William says he was “sickened” after professional soccer players were the targets of racism on social media. Millions watched the historic soccer match when Italy beat England in the Euro2020 Championship, but many on social media blamed the loss on three Black British players who missed penalty kicks after the game ended in a 1-1 tie in overtime. Prince William took to Twitter saying, "It is totally unacceptable that players have to endure this abhorrent behavior.”
