Raspberries Frontman and 'All by Myself' Singer Eric Carmen Dies at 74

The world is mourning the loss of a musician who wrote one of Celine Dion’s greatest hits. "All by Myself" was written by Eric Carmen back in 1975. He was the frontman of the Raspberries. Carmen is also remembered for the 1987 hit "Hungry Eyes" from the "Dirty Dancing" soundtrack. Carmen's wife, Amy, announced his passing on his website writing “Our sweet, loving and talented Eric passed away in his sleep.” He was 74.
