Russian and Ukrainian Dancers Raise Money for Red Cross Efforts in Ukraine

Dancers from the Ukrainian and Russian ballet worlds combined their talents to raise money for the Red Cross. Among the renowned dancers was Olga Smirnova, who made headlines when she resigned as prima ballerina of Russia’s Bolshoi Ballet because of the invasion of Ukraine. While pirouettes and grand jetes cannot stop the fighting in Ukraine, the money raised will go to support those whose lives are being affected.
