It's traditionally been the white dove that symbolizes peace, but in a region devastated by conflict, there's a different bird that's bringing people together. Barn owls in the Middle East are threatened with habitat destruction because of the fighting between nations, but a group of scientists made up of different nationalities and faiths has come together to preserve a home for these birds.
