Melting Antarctic Glaciers Slowing Ocean Currents: Report

The glaciers continue to melt and scientists say that’s doing more harm to the environment than originally thought. Aside from the obvious side effect of rising sea levels, a new report in the journal Nature claims the meltwater from Antarctic glaciers is also contributing to warming and aging of the oceans, by slowing down ocean currents. Those currents are the overturning and distribution of ocean water that goes on worldwide. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
