Simone Biles Gets Support From Michelle Obama After Detailing Struggles

Simone Biles is getting an outpouring of support after the announcement that she will not compete in the individual all-around competition at the Olympics to instead focus on her health. USA Gymnastics put out a statement giving its “wholehearted support of Simone’s decision.” Michelle Obama also wrote on Twitter that she was proud of Biles, and added “we are rooting for you.” Former Olympic gymnastic great Dominique Dawes says Simone made the right call.
