Plane Avoids Near Collision With Jet at Chicago Airport

A Southwest Airlines flight nearly collides with a small regional jet at Chicago Midway International Airport. The close call happened this morning as the Southwest flight was coming in for a landing. The pilot aborted the landing and performed "precautionary" measures. This is just the latest airplane mishap in recent days. In a statement, Southwest says that the crew followed safety procedures and the flight landed without incident.
