Donna Pinto was 44 in January 2010 when she was diagnosed with ductal carcinoma in-situ, or DCIS. It's also known as Stage 0 breast cancer. "I was numb and I was almost paralyzed and I really don't think I heard anything further other than that," Pinto says after hearing the news. DCIS refers to abnormal cells trapped in the milk ducts.
