Taliban Forces Take Over Kabul Afghanistan Amid US Troop Withdrawal

This comes as Taliban forces have reportedly taken over city-by-city, while American and NATO troops withdraw from Afghanistan after 20 years. Afghan President Ashraf Ghani has fled the country, saying in a Facebook post that he felt it was best to avoid bloodshed. He also promised to “always continue to serve” Afghanistan.
