Doctors in India removed more than a pound of plastic and wood from a teen's stomach before it was revealed that the 16-year-old had a secret addiction to chewing the materials. After complaining of stomach pains and weight loss, doctors discovered a mass in his gut that made it impossible for him to digest. Doctors say any further delay may have been fatal. They'll need to perform additional surgeries to get the rest of the junk out of the boy's stomach, and he'll need counseling to treat the potentially deadly addiction
