True Crime Is Popular on TikTok, But Not All the Effects Are Positive

As the true crime genre gains traction on TikTok, it has had positive impacts for some. But Anjum Coffland, a mom who survived the tragedy of being shot and having her twin daughters killed at the hands of her husband, doesn’t think anyone should be telling her story without permission. “I just want them to understand that this isn't a singing and dancing kind of thing. This is very personal, this is very private,” Coffland told Inside Edition Digital.
