Don’t let those short legs fool you! These little dogs can run! Los Alamitos Race Course is known for horse races, but on one special night, the track goes to the dogs. About 7,000 fans packed the stands for the Wienerschnitzel Wiener Nationals, where 104 beloved dachshunds ran for the title, “Fastest Wiener In the West.” The winner of the race is a terror on four little legs named Beenie Vonweenie. He completed a 50-yard dash in just 6.8 seconds.
