Rumors have reached a fever pitch that Meghan Markle is expecting twins after bookies suspended betting this week thanks to an "abnormal" number of bets.
The "flurry" of wagers Friday morning betting Markle will have twins has Paddy Power, an Irish bookmaker, wondering whether "perhaps the punters — or an insider source — knows something more than we do," read a statement from the company.
And they aren't only ones. Coral, another bookmaking company, previously slashed the odds of Meghan, 37, giving birth to twins from 8/1 to 4/1.
Meghan, who's due in the spring, is currently in the middle of her second trimester. Kensington Palace announced her pregnancy in October, saying she and her husband, Prince Harry, 34, "are delighted" to be expecting.
Of course, there's frequently speculation that members of the British royal family are pregnant with multiples.
Bookies previously suspended betting on twins when Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, was pregnant with Princess Charlotte in 2014. The same thing happened when she was expecting Prince George as well.
