Samantha Markle has been vilified around the world for referring to the Duchess as "duch-ass."
Samantha Markle is making a very public apology to her estranged half-sister, the Duchess of Sussex.
The 53-year-old appeared on a British TV talk show after flying to London and doing her best to meet with Meghan Markle.
“I was hoping that we'd have the chance to speak, that she'd know I was here, but I don't think that's going to happen,” Samantha told host Jeremy Vine.
She said she went to Buckingham Palace over the weekend, but didn’t have any way of telling her sister she was outside.
It's also worth noting that while Queen Elizabeth lives at Buckingham Palace, Samantha Markle may have had better luck at Kensington Palace, where Prince Harry and his wife reside.
"I would just say that there is so much water under the bridge and so much has spun out of control that was never intended to," Samantha told Vine. "And you know, I think everybody was hurt not being included or invited to the wedding, but I felt as though it could have all been nipped in the bud had everyone been included, and we all just agreed to move forward with positive resolve.
“The hurt feelings wouldn't have snowballed, but believe it or not, it doesn't mean that we love you any less, I just think that families can be this way when there's confusion and people are hurt. So moving forward, I apologize and wish things could be different."
Samantha Markle was not invited to the royal wedding and came under scrutiny for her behavior in the days and weeks leading up to the event. She has also been vilified around the world for referring to the Duchess as "duch-ass" and "Cruella de Vil."
Kensington Palace has not commented on the matter.
