The first lady's last public appearance was on May 10.
After rampant speculation about Melania Trump's whereabouts following an extended absence, a reporter announced that he spotted her in the White House Wednesday.
Melania’s last public appearance was May 10 when three Americans were released by North Korea. On May 16, the President visited the first lady after she had a minor kidney surgery and was hospitalized for five days.
Her absence prompted outlandish theories about where she was and what she was doing. Some said she moved back to New York, others said she was writing a tell-all about her husband.
But those rumors were put to rest Wednesday, as the first lady was spotted in the White House.
CNBC reporter Eamon Javers tweeted “Not that this will deter the conspiracy theorists, but I saw the First Lady walking with her aides in the West Wing yesterday afternoon."

Melania’s spokeswoman, Stephanie Grisham, said they deal with conspiracy theories all the time.
“This is nothing new," Grisham said. "Just more silly nonsense."
Absence seems to make the heart grow fonder, however, because in the last month Melania’s approval rating jumped 10 points to 57 percent. She's currently the most popular person in the White House.
Melania also tweeted Monday afternoon that she is feeling great, while sniping at reports about her absence.
"I see the media is working overtime speculating where I am & what I'm doing," she wrote on her official Twitter account. "Rest assured, I'm here at the @WhiteHouse w my family, feeling great, & working hard on behalf of children & the American people!"
