He was later arrested.
An Ohio postal worker walked into his job naked Saturday and allegedly killed his boss before later killing another employee outside her home.
DeShaune Stewart, 24, of Columbus, was charged with killing his supervisor at a post office in Dublin, and then killing the Dublin postmaster outside of her Columbus apartment complex.
Police categorized both acts as “workplace violence.” Stewart was reportedly at risk of losing his job and blamed the victims.
Stewart was naked and carrying a weapon at the time of both killings, which occurred about three hours and four miles apart, police said.
Police said Stewart arrived at the Dublin post office around 4:30 a.m., approached Lance Herrera-Dempsey, 52, and shot him.
About three hours later, Stewart, still naked, was seen chasing postmaster Ginger Ballard, 53, around a parking lot outside of her home.
Police said he threw her to the ground where she struck her head and died.
Patrol officers arrested Stewart shortly after Ballard was killed and recovered a hand gun.
He reportedly tried to run away from authorities.
Stewart has been charged with aggravated murder and murder in connection with the two deaths.
