Paris Jackson responded directly to a TMZ report that she had attempted suicide Saturday and was being held on watch at the hospital.
"f*** you you f****** liars," Jackson tweeted in response to the TMZ story. "lies lies lies omg and more lies," she added.
TMZ reported, based on family and law enforcement sources, that emergency officials responded to her home Saturday morning before she was transferred to the hospital and placed on a 5150 hold. The tabloid reported she was in stable condition and later released.
In a statement to People, the Los Angeles Police Department said, “At about 7:28 a.m., officers responded to the 7200 block of Hillside for an ambulance attempt suicide. The victim was transported to a local hospital."
People later reported that a source said Paris, who has been open about her struggles with depression, "had an accident this morning that required medical treatment. She is currently resting at home and doing fine.”
TMZ also reported, based on "sources with knowledge," that the incident was in response to the latest abuse allegations against her father, Michael Jackson, in the HBO documentary "Leaving Neverland."
Jackson, who died in 2009, always denied the sexual misconduct allegations against him.
