The cover also drew criticism from the likes of "Good Morning Britain" host Piers Morgan.
Plus-size model Tess Holliday couldn't be more thrilled to be on the October cover of Cosmopolitan U.K.
"I'm literally a COSMO GIRL!!" she posted on Twitter. "Can't believe I'm saying that! If I saw a body like mine on this magazine when I was a young girl, it would have changed my life."
Phew, I’m literally a COSMO GIRL!! Can’t believe I’m saying that! ??

But not everyone is happy, as TV personality Piers Morgan tweeted that the cover is "just as dangerous & misguided as celebrating size zero models."
Holliday fired back at the criticism without mentioning Morgan by name.
"To everyone saying I’m a burden to the British health care system, I’m american so you don’t have to worry about my fat a**," Holliday tweeted later Thursday.
"Worry about what horrible people you are by whining about how me being on the cover of a glossy magazine impacts your small minded life."
