President Trump's doctor said he has gained a few pounds in the last year, and while his cholesterol levels improved, his dosage of medication was increased.
Though his overall health remains good, the White House doctor says President Trump is no longer considered overweight — but obese.
During his physical exam last week, the 6-foot-3 Trump weighed in at 243 pounds with a body mass index of 30.4. That puts him just inside the obese range. He weighed 239 last year and had a BMI of 29.9.
However, the doctor didn't say Trump was unhealthy.
"It is my determination that the president remains in very good health," Dr. Sean Conley said in his report released by the White House.
Trump's total cholesterol went down a little to 196 from 223 last year. The report indicated his daily dosage of rosuvastatin, used to treat high cholesterol, increased to 40 mg. It was not clear when the increased dosage began.
Conley said there were "no findings of significance or changes to report on his physical exam, including the eyes, ears, nose, mouth, teeth/gums, heart, lungs, skin, gastrointestinal, and neurologic systems."
The report did not indicate that Trump took a cognitive exam, like he did last year under then-White House doctor Navy Rear Adm. Ronny Jackson.
Jackson had recommended a diet and exercise plan to Trump last year, but a White House spokesman told CNN last week that Trump admits "he has not followed it religiously."
