Princess Beatrice is engaged to boyfriend Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.
The princess, 31, and Mozzi, a 34-year-old property developer, reportedly got engaged while on vacation in Italy earlier this month.
"We are both so excited to be embarking on this life adventure together," the couple said in a statement. "We share so many similar interests and values, and we know that this will stand us in great stead for the years ahead, full of love and happiness.”
They celebrated their engagement with a selection of sweet, colorful photos taken by Beatrice's sister, Princess Eugenie, who shared them to her Instagram. Mozzi shared a set of intimate, black-and-white photos to his profile.
Beatrice, the daughter of Queen Elizabeth's son Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, is currently ninth in line for the thrown.
Beatrice’s parents said they are “thrilled” and have “watched their relationship develop with pride.”
"We are the lucky parents of a wonderful daughter who has found her love and companion in a completely devoted friend and loyal young man. We send them every good wish for a wonderful family future,” the Duke and Duchess said in a statement.
