The country music star's encounter with police occurred after he had crashed his Trans-Am into a construction site.
Authorities have released dashcam footage of country superstar Randy Travis, completely naked and in handcuffs from a February 2012 DUI arrest..
The censored video shows the Country Music Hall of Famer as he's escorted into a police car by an officer in Sanger, Texas.
Travis was charged with driving under the influence after he crashed his Pontiac Trans-Am into a construction site.
In the half-hour long video, the singer had a bruised face and told an officer, “I'm as fine as a damn dandy,” when asked about the incident.
During his arrest, he insulted the officer.
“You're a dead man in under 10 minutes," Travis says in the video. "You think I’m lying to you? Just check me out. I know a lot of people. I know the head of Mafioso family.”
Insults aimed at the cop didn't stop there.
“I pray to God that he will have a cancerous growth that affects his bones and every part of his body,” he said.
The officer reacted to that one in surprise, asking, “Was that directed toward me, Mr. Travis?”
Travis admitted it was.
The Grammy award-winning singer recently lost a long legal battle to keep the video private.
His lawyer released a statement calling the singer’s behavior that night "entirely out of character."
He added: "He suffered a severe concussion and sustained numerous other injuries from the crash. Randy is deeply apologetic for his actions that evening.”
One year after the incident, Travis suffered a debilitating stroke.
