It wasn't a wing, but it certainly was wild.
Alisha Norman was a customer at a Buffalo Wild Wings in California watching the Women's World Cup, when a live rat fell from the ceiling.
"I knew the rat was going to be injured because it hit like a Mack truck," Norman told NBC Los Angeles.
Norman said she hadn't even ordered yet when the rat landed on her menu.
Norman, who was there on vacation from Texas, says she got the manager's attention, who then scooped the rodent up using two big plates and tossed it in a bag.
She called the whole thing "disgusting."
Norman said the manager compensated her bill.
In a statement, Buffalo Wild Wings called it an isolated incident.
"The center where the restaurant is located is undergoing significant construction and we are confident it was directly related. We hold Buffalo Wild Wings to the highest operating standards and promptly closed the restaurant for proper remediation, cleaning and sanitization," the company said.
