Mo'Nique claims she's been "blackballed" by Oprah Winfrey.
Steve Harvey is determined to end actress Mo'Nique's feud with Oprah Winfrey.
The “Precious” actress visited Harvey's talk show for a brutally frank face-to-face to discuss the alleged "blackballing" she says she's faced by some of the biggest names in show business, including Winfrey, Tyler Perry and Lee Daniels.
"I got labelled as difficult when I said no to some very powerful people," Mo'Nique said.
She also expressed her anger that Harvey himself never publicly came to her defense. “When I heard you go on air and [say], 'My sister has burned too many bridges and there's nothing I can do for her,' Steve, do you know how hurt I was?” she said.
Harvey didn't hold back in his response.
"I thought you went about it all wrong, I thought you did yourself a disservice by how you chose to go about it," he said, referencing a time Mo'Nique told the three to "suck [her] d***" during a stand-up performance.
Mo'Nique's issues with Oprah, Daniels and Perry began in 2009, when she reportedly refused to do publicity without additional pay for Lee Daniels’ film “Precious,” for which she won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress.
