A teenager reportedly broke into a German prison in an effort to win back his ex-girlfriend.
Authorities in the town of Vechta said the unidentified 18-year-old scaled the 13-foot building in order to get to his former flame’s window, according to the Associated Press.
The teen was reportedly half naked, taking off some of his clothes to avoid getting caught on barbed wire. Prison officials intercepted him, and fire officials brought him back down on a ladder.
The ex, also 18, had reportedly broken up with him over the phone. It’s unclear if his antics won her over.
