Did an episode of The Simpsons from 19 years ago predict the future?
The episode in question shows the entrance to the 20th Century Fox's movie studios with fine print below the logo that reads: “A Division of Walt Disney Company."
The episode is coming back into consciousness after Disney purchased 21st Century Fox in a monumental $52.4 billion Thursday morning. The deal includes Fox's 39 percent stake in satellite broadcaster Sky, and the 20th Century Fox film studio, Disney announced.
It's not the first time The Simpsons has had a crystal ball.

In an episode, Bart flashes forward to Lisa becoming president and decrying big budget problems from her predecessor, Donald Trump.
And five years before Lady Gaga was suspended from the roof at the Super Bowl halftime show, the “Bad Romance” singer was on The Simpsons, performing for Springfield residents while hanging in the air.
The Simpsons also predicted the Apple Watch back in 1995, nearly 20 years before it was introduced.
On The Simpsons, tiger trainers based on Siegfried and Roy were mauled on-stage. Ten years later, it happened in real life when Roy Horn was bitten on the neck and dragged by one of their tigers, Montecore.
