Inside Edition visited a Connecticut ballet school where boys are proud to dance.
Proud parents Prince William and Kate Middleton were on hand for the big day as Princess Charlotte and Prince George attended her first day of school.
For George, school also means back to ballet, just two weeks after that firestorm triggered by “Good Morning America” co-host Lara Spencer as she mocked the future king taking ballet classes. She later apologized.
Inside Edition went to Eastern Connecticut Ballet School, where the boys say no one is laughing at them.
“There was a field trip going to ‘The Nutcracker.’ I was in ‘The Nutcracker’ that year, so I’m pretty sure everyone liked it so they know now and they're not mocking me,” one student told Inside Edition.
“I think the more exposure young people see to get young boys dancing, the easier it's going to be for them to continue dancing,” one mother told Inside Edition.
