The Beyhive has stung so hard, Beyonce’s publicist is asking it to calm down.

The internet was ignited when video showed Queen Bey and Jay-Z at Game 3 of the NBA Finals, seated next to Nicole Curran, wife of billionaire Golden State Warriors owner Joe Lacob.

In the clip, Beyonce, who is seated in between the two, looks annoyed that Curran is leaning over her to speak with Jay-Z.

According to Yahoo, Curran told ESPN that all she was trying to do was take their drink order. “There was no hostility," said Curran, “I was trying to be a good hostess.”

Curran says they have hosted the power couple many times before.

Still, this explanation wasn’t good enough for some of Beyonce’s most devoted fans.

Curran says she began receiving death threats, deleting her social media pages because of it. She told the sports network she has never experienced bullying like this.

In a caption on her now deleted Instagram page, she tried to clarify what she was doing. “All of this is being taken out of context,” she wrote. “I am a happily married woman. Telling me to kill myself???? Somehow I don’t think she would support this.”

Things have gotten so intense, Beyonce’s publicist, Yvette Noel Schure, has gotten involved.

In the caption under a picture from the pair’s On The Run II tour last year, Schure wrote in part, “Every single day on that tour I saw love. Which is why I also want to speak here to the beautiful BeyHiVE. I know your love runs deep but that love has to be given to every human. It will bring no joy to the person you love so much if you spew hate in her name.”

Beyonce nor Jay-Z have commented on the incident.
