The rapper gushed on everything from his "Make America Great Again" hat to the hydrogen plane he believes should take the place of Air Force One.
Kanye West gave the Oval Office an earful Thursday as he dominated a 20-minute meeting with bizarre proclamations of love for President Trump and his own "Make America Great Again" hat, saying the latter makes him feel "like Superman."
The “Through the Wire” rapper sat across from Trump’s desk with retired professional football player Jim Brown to discuss a bevy of topics, including criminal justice reform.
But the caustic rapper could not help but voice his support for Trump.
“This is our president,” he said. “He has to be the freshest, the fliest, the fliest planes, the best factories. And we have to make our core be empowered.”
Donning his own “Make America Great Again" hat, West added: "If he don't look good, we don't look good. This is our president."
The rapper said he feels rejuvenated whenever he puts on the president's signature cap.
"When I put this hat on, it made me feel like Superman, my favorite superhero. You made a Superman cape for me,” he said.
Trump then gushed about having West in the Oval Office.
"He can speak for me anytime he wants," Trump said. "He's been there. Good guy. Smart cookie. Smart. He gets it. These two guys, Jim Brown, he's been doing this for a long time."
Surrounded by cameras and microphones, West pulled out his iPhone and unlocked it, showing the world his strikingly basic passcode, and showed Trump concepts for a new Air Force One.
The president could only sit and listen and then West dropped an F-bomb in front of reporters.
“He may not have expected to have a crazy motherf***er like Kanye in the Oval Office,” he said.
Following the meeting, West hugged the president and first daughter Ivanka Trump.
The rapper has had a shaky relationship with past presidents.
In 2005, he said during a live Hurricane Katrina telethon that “George Bush doesn’t care about black people."
In 2009, President Obama called West "a jacka**" following the rapper's upstaging of Taylor Swift during that year's MTV's Video Music Awards.
