Alaska Airlines Flight Lands in California After Losing Tire During Takeoff

Plane passengers braced for an emergency landing while keeping their heads down. On board were 38 middle school students returning to Los Angeles from a class trip to Washington. Turns out, the Alaska Airlines pilot realized he lost a tire during takeoff. They spent nearly six hours flying cross country not knowing what awaited them when they landed. Thankfully, the pilot was able to land safely.
