Man in Handcuffs Tries to Run From Police

Police in Colorado say a suspect tried to get away when he was already in handcuffs. The Wheat Ridge Police Department says they got reports of a driver swerving on the road. By the time officers left the station to respond, police say they found the suspect's vehicle parked just outside the department with a blown-out tire. The suspect told officers he didn't try to run away. Authorities say the suspect was issued a summons for DUI and obstructing a peace officer.
