11-Year-Old Girl Fights Off Would-Be Kidnapper at Bus Stop

An 11-year-old Florida girl escaped an attempted kidnapping after a man tried to grab her as she waited at the bus stop. The alleged kidnapper was captured on surveillance camera sprinting across the lawn and grabbing the girl in Pensacola. Police say he was armed with a knife. The 11-year-old fought back and managed to drag the man down to the ground. Apparently spooked, the assailant took off. Jared Stanga, 30, was charged with attempted kidnapping, aggravated assault and battery.
