New York Lawmakers Ban Pet Shops From Selling Dogs
In New York, lawmakers have banned pet shops from selling dogs. The new law is called the “Puppy Mill Pipeline Act.” It’s intended to curb the flow of dogs coming into the state from puppy mills and instead encourage adoption from animal shelters.
