    Severe Turbulence Injuries 36 Passengers on Hawaiian Flight

    A Hawaiian Airlines flight flying from Phoenix, Arizona, to Honolulu, Hawaii, was rocked by severe turbulence just 30 minutes before landing. Witnesses say some passengers who didn't have their seat belts fastened flew up and hit their heads on the overhead compartments. First responders rushed to treat 36 injured passengers and crew. Eleven of the victims were hospitalized. The incident took place as air travel is peaking for the holidays.
