1980 Cold Case Killing of 20-Year-Old Eve Wilkowitz of New York Solved With DNA
Another decades-old cold case is solved thanks to DNA technology, giving one family long overdue relief. In 1980, Eve Wilkowitz, 20, was abducted from a train station in Long Island, New York, while commuting home from work as a secretary in Manhattan. Her body was found days later. Investigators say she was raped and strangled. Investigators say Herbert Rice, who died in 1991, was responsible for the crime. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
