5-Month-Old Gorilla Found in Alleged Smuggling Attempt in Turkey

This baby was a surprise to agents at a Turkish airport who say the gorilla was found in a plane's cargo hold. Officials say the five-month-old male was discovered in a shipment from Nigeria and is suspected to be a victim of wildlife trafficking. Since its handlers didn't have the proper documentation, Turkish Customs confiscated the gorilla in December and sent him to the Agriculture and Forest Ministry.
