Adam Lambert and Queen to Open Oscars Broadcast

The music of Queen will open the Oscars Sunday night. The musical performance will come in place of a typical host monologue. Kevin Hart, who was slated to host the show, backed out after controversial tweets from his past resurfaced. The show never secured a new host. Queen and Adam Lambert have been touring together as a band since 2011, performing Queen's famous music. The band is very excited and promises to “rock you,” according to an Instagram post.
