All Charges Dropped Against Golfer Scottie Scheffler

Golf great Scottie Scheffler is breathing a big sigh of relief today after a court date in front of a judge. The world’s number one golfer was placed in cuffs earlier this month after an incident outside the PGA Championship in Louisville, Kentucky. The 27-year-old was arrested for assaulting a police officer and reckless driving. The prosecutor in the case said, “My office cannot move forward in the prosecution of the charges filed” against Scheffler, and all charges were dropped.
