Auschwitz Survivor Gets 2nd COVID-19 Vaccine Dose on Holocaust Remembrance Day
It’s a convergence of two harrowing milestones: the 76th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz concentration camp in Poland and the beginning of vaccine administration that could turn the curve in the battle against the coronavirus. Zana Sadikario-Satsoglu, 96, has received her second dose of Pfizer’s vaccine. As a result of the holocaust, she was the only survivor in her family. In 2020, a reported 900 holocaust survivors died of COVID-19. Inside Edition Digital’s Stephanie Officer has the details.
