Tim Wilson, a lawmaker in Australia, used his time on the floor to propose a special measure. "Ryan Patrick Bolger, will you marry me?" Wilson asked his partner, who was sitting in the gallery. The proposal comes amid a parliamentary debate over same-sex marriage in Australia, where it is not yet legal. But Wilson and Bolger have every reason to celebrate. He said yes.
