Volunteer Police Officer Attacked by Bee Swarm Speaks Out

The volunteer police officer who survived a brutal bee attack is speaking out exclusively to Inside Edition. Last week, Gary Knabenbauer helped direct traffic as fire trucks arrived in response to a bee swarm. That’s when the bees started to attack him, causing Knabenbauer to collapse on the ground multiple times. After escaping the angry bee swarm, he was rushed to the hospital where he received surgery on his fractured eye socket. Inside Edition’s Jim Moret has more.
