May 23, 2018
A Cleveland Indians pitcher is explaining the cryptic message that was scrawled on the mound which had some saying he suggested President George W. Bush was behind the September 11 attacks. Pitcher Trevor Bauer wrote “BD 91.1” on his mound Tuesday night. The 26-year-old made the notation before throwing out the first pitch at Wrigley Field in Chicago, using his foot to scribble the message. Many on social media alleged that it meant “Bush Did 9/11.” Bauer shot down the accusations.
