David Bennett, Recipient of the 1st-Ever Pig Heart Transplant, Has Died

In January, David Bennett made history becoming the first human ever to have a heart of a genetically modified pig transplanted in their body. The University of Maryland Medical Center, where he had the procedure, has announced that he has died two months after the experiment.
