Alaskan Dog Takes 166-Mile Trek

Nanuq is a year-old Australian Shepherd. His human family was visiting friends when he got out with another dog named Starlight. A month after Nanuq’s disappearance, the family received pictures of a dog that they knew right away was theirs. Only he was 166 miles away, across miles of sea ice. The kind strangers who rescued Nanuq got him added on a charter flight. When the plane landed, his family was waiting for him.
