Family Forgives Man Found Liable in Mansion Hanging Civil Case

A stunning verdict has come down in the mysterious death of a woman found tied up and hanging naked from the balcony of a San Diego mansion. A jury in a civil case found 54-year-old Adam Shacknai sexually assaulted 32-year-old Rebecca Zahau, then killed her and staged the scene to make it look like suicide. Shacknai showed no emotion when he heard the $5 million judgement. Rebecca was the girlfriend of Adam’s brother, pharmaceutical billionaire Jonah Shacknai.
