Homeless Man Rescues Family From House Fire

A man living on the streets is being hailed as a hero for jumping into action in order to save others. Claudia Jiminez and her 1- and 8- year-old daughters were asleep when their home burst into flames. Jim Hollins, a man experiencing homelessness, heard the family’s cries from the encampment where he was sleeping. He ran over to see if he could help. Because of Hollins, Jiminez, her daughters and their two dogs were able to escape without serious injuries.
