Oops! Fan Misses World Series Ball Despite Valiant Effort

During Game 6 of the World Series, one fan tried to catch a home run ball with his glove, but the ball ended up socking his wife in the stomach. L.A. Dodger Joc Pederson hit the ball during the seventh inning and it sailed into the stands. Fan Stephen Wiard thought he was in place to get the ball. But it missed and it hit his wife, Megan, leaving a big bruise. She says she’s feeling fine. “I survived, but it was a great hit,” she said on Instagram.
