Sheriff Shocked Drunk Couple Would Let Kids Wander Off

A Florida sheriff says he’s “disgusted” parents would be so inebriated on a beach that their kids could wander off without them knowing. A Georgia couple, who cops say were drunk, was found sleeping on a Florida beach. A 911 caller alerted authorities that the parents had passed out and the kids were by themselves. Their kids were later found swimming in a nearby pool. The couple was placed in handcuffs and charged with child neglect.
